Emergency

You will need to survive on your own in an emergency. Government services may not be available and your friends and family may be counting on you for support. This means having your own food, water, and other supplies in sufficient quantity to last. What do I need?

  •  Water! One gallon of water per person per day for a few days and the ability to collect and filter water thereafter
  •  Food, at least a three-day supply and the ability to hunt, collect or grow food theirafter
  •  Battery-powered or hand crank  weather radio 
  •  Flashlight, hand crank or extra batteries
  •  First aid kit
  •  Whistle,Signal mirror and Lighter 
  •  N95 Face masks, rated for dust and pathogens
  •  Duct tape, Garbage bags, Face cloths & Rope
  •  Multi purpose tool & Knife
  •  Compass & Binoculars
  •  Local maps & GPS
  •  Cell phone & Walky-talkies
  • Solar chargers for electronic devices

Additional Items to consider; prescription medications and eye glasses, infant formula and diapers, pet food, personal identification, money & coins,  sleeping bags and a tent, additional clothing, fire extinguisher, waterproof matches, feminine supplies and personal hygiene items, cooking supplies, waterproof paper and pencil, books, games and puzzles
